These "dummy"/training rounds are absolutely top-notch. Very reasonably priced on their own. These dummy rounds are really well-made; the bullet is crimped to the cartridge brass just as if it were a live round (seamless). Primer is removed (of course) and replaced by what looks to be a silicon bead (no mess or spill-over) which is flexible so that you can dry fire without danger to your rifle. Bullet tip is metallic black, so they'll be no mistaking this training round for a live round (I have not experienced any issue with the bullet coating coming off in the barrel). Finally, the weight and feel are perfect. Customer service is fantastic as well. I had several questions and my emails were answered promptly, professionally, and in a friendly manner. I'm a fan of A-Zoom's and Tipton's snap caps, but I gotta be honest - if a round I'm looking for is made by the Realistic Snap Cap folks I'm going with RSC. (And here's to hoping RSC decides to come with more choices like the 7.5x55mm Schmidt Rubin!)

I liked these dummy rounds so much that I purchased all the different rifle calibers they had. I had used some aluminum snap-caps previously, but these did not function very well in cycling the gun, especially 5.56 caliber. These Advanced Tactical rounds have the perfect simulated weight and size and load and eject smoothly, like the real thing.

Looks and feeds like a live round! I have had other plastic and metal snap caps. These are the most effective and realistic. They are made from actual casings which is preferable for us combat veterans who build our own ARs. Highly recommend for builders to test their builds when charging as required on M4/M16 FM's or manuals.

FINALLY! I'm on my third set of "realistic" snap caps, but these are the only ones that are actually cut correctly. A-Zoom are cut too deep, and fall right out of moon clips. Steelworx aren't cut at all, so they don't fit into moon clips. But these are actually realistic! It's a tight fit, and just like real .357 ammo, it's a struggle to get them in. I wish the colors were bright neon to more readily define them as snap caps, but since these are the only ones to get it right where it matters, they get 5 stars. Ordering more now!

These are the BEST snap caps. I've tried several types of snap caps. The aluminum type leave shards of metal in my guns. The plastic ones break easily. These are made of brass and work perfectly.
